Have 2 ewes a week or some off lambing in a batch of 50 that have started star gazing
The texel x has gone down and can’t stand and . The Welsh mountains can. Both have sporadic wake up moments .
I have been treating for the last 24hrs for
- CCN - vit b1 & B12 . Never seen CCN before.
- Listeriosis - but neither are drooling or paddling - Alamycin La
Twin lamb - glycol drench
Calcium stagger - caliject 40

no improvement whatsoever. Am I missing something??

How are they? Not CCN, they stand and head press against a wall, preferably a corner. You would recognise it, it is quite bizarre. Only 2 cases here and couldn't cure.
Head back is listeria IMO. Are her ears droopy? Again only a few cases here but never paddling, just head back.

I’ve seen CCN cases where they go down, throw heir heads back and flail with their legs.

50/50 whether they respond to treatment though ime, and even poorer odds for listeria.

@Jimmy the bull , I would have thought you’d covered all basses right enough. I’d carry on for a day or so, then probably shoot them. :(
