Joining a friendly and loyal team at our client’s farm in Angus, the Stockperson enjoys a varied and influential role where you will be responsible for the care and management of a beef herd and a flock of breeding ewes. Having experience in the day-to-day management of livestock, you will take great pride in the health and welfare of the stock and work undertaken. Happy to turn your hand to routine tractor work and general farm duties, you will have a versatile and dedicated approach, actively contributing to the success of this enterprise.

Role Responsibilities:
- To manage the day-to-day management of livestock e.g. feeding, bedding, vaccinations
- To ensure high standards of animal health and welfare are maintained
- To assist in the management of livestock breeding programs
- To maintain accurate animal health records
- To undertake routine tractor work, confidently operating machinery on the farm
- To understand and follow health and safety procedures and protocols
- To assist with general farm duties including the maintenance and upkeep of farm infrastructure
Essential:
- Proven experience in livestock management and general farm work
- Proficient in operating tractors and farm machinery
- A knowledge and understanding of livestock production systems
- Excellent communication skills
- A confident team player
- A good attention to detail, with a keen eye for livestock welfare
- A strong sense of pride in the work undertaken
- An excellent work ethic with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business
- UK driving licence
