Just had this thru:

Work in progress applications could be deleted if not submitted by end of the year.

resulting in lots of lost time and effort.

Bit of a googly to bowl! Just not Cricket was my first reaction. Good old RPA try to be nice to us and then just a 'gentle' goolie kick to remind us who is in charge. I have several started but was planning on finalising after festivities. Ah well. After spending nearly an hour on the helpline today what is dumping a few days worth of data entry. Just suck it up.

Nah they are just trying to get the couple of hundred folk who have opened up an application to complete so their figures look better, pal went to an open meeting hosted by one of the chosen firms to create enthusiasm for sfi said it was in a small room few farmers in attendance and the agents said fewer than 15% of their bps clients have expressed an interest and even fewer are currently applying .

Hi, Maybe. Was interesting to see in the CLA press release that RPA say 7600 active but not submitted applications. That would be 10% of BPS applicants. Add in the current live agreements and your 15% be about right. Well time will tell popularity. I am hearing of more folk looking into SFI as agents quietly get around their client base.

Things thats in mine was partly left out the CSS as it paid less at the time.

Agents probably trying to work out how to replace their BPS Application commission- won't be quite so easy!

Possibly but I doubt if that is causing land agency firms to stare financial oblivion in the face leading to wide scale redundancy of land agents and collapse in the market for yellow corduroys and brogues! But I can see it as being a popular thought on TFF! Cheers. Although I might partake in a fire sale of Shoffel's for xmas presents!

@ploughman1963 Clive has had a twitter exchange with RPA staffer who rec that we get the application in this month, so now changed our minds!
Apparently it will be possible to add stuff later on.
I submitted an application for a small farm (6 fields) mid november. Agreement activated first week December to go live January. Realised I had forgotten IPM4, so started a new second application with just IPM4. Submitted last week and agreement came through yesterday. So that farm will have two agreements which i assume will merge at some stage.

You can have as many agreements as you want . so long as there's no double funding
I anticipate 3 here
