Weight probably is a problem as it’s 3t. Otherwise it’s 3m wide and probably the same in depth.Could any owners shed some light on if it would be possible to move one on a 14 ifor Williams trailer? Weight shouldn’t be a problem was more worried about dimensions? Cheers
Make sure you have a good top link.
How far are you going?Well that’s the trailer idea out the window you can’t over hang that wide. And the machine weight I found of the internet is a bit off is it a no for that idea. I ride out in the tractor it is
Dismantle it, take the packer home on a trailer, two trips yes, but taking one of those evil things 50 miles on the back of a tractor is just an accident waiting to happen.
I would be bringing back on the linkage that’s far to far for that carry on. Dismantling it is probably how I will go forward with it. It should only be a couple of bolts to get the packer off.
That’s what I think put the packer on the ifor Williams trailer and use the tractor for the rest .Dismantle it, take the packer home on a trailer, two trips yes, but taking one of those evil things 50 miles on the back of a tractor is just an accident waiting to happen.
Pump them up nice and hard so the points can just pop them easierPersonally, stick it on a lorry
Either that or pump your back tyres up very hard and take several top links with you.
How do you plan on loading/unloading it on bale trailer , like others have said either split roller off if you have to get it yourself or get a low loaderWas thinking of loading on to a bale trailer for that run home. But have hydraulic top links on the tractors but not keen of a long ish run on them
If you get it on a wagon remember you’ll need a fairly decent sized machine to lift it off unless you can reverse a tractor up to it and hitch it on whilst still on the wagon. Been there got the tee shirt trying to get one off .Personally, stick it on a lorry
Either that or pump your back tyres up very hard and take several top links with you.
