As I have said we just do a bit of farming for a hobby and we have a lot of houses around so it's not often we do anything noise on a sunday.

I know people need to feed and the such but if you had a lot of houses around you what would you do.

This isn't just a shouldn't move to the country moan.

I'm sat in my garden in a housing estate and somebody is flat out building an extension.

So what are sundays for should people show some consideration espe9as people are stuck in the houses at the moment

Somebody is very lucky to have the materials to build an extension, must have got them before everybody shut up shop

I've laid block paving on a sunday only because Ide done the prep work on saturday ,,not used the stihl saw though,,to much dust in the neighbor's G&T .
I try not to work sundays if avoidable but sometimes if the weather looks dodgy then I will ,,soon as this malarkey has lifted ,I think I'll not know which direction to go first

I never expect anyone else to work on a Sunday but generally it is just another day for me.
I think everybody has too much pressure on their time and they should be free to use what free time they have to do what they want. With so many working shifts/ nights/ weekends, you could be disturbing someones sleep at anytime of day or night of the week.

Sundays just another day really. For no particular reason I guess it's the day to have a quiet day when possible. I have no qualms about being busy and making a noise on a Sunday though it has to be said, annoying someone isn't really a concern 'because it's a sunday', not sure there is a law about it is there? Call me what you will

I guess it's a bit of a courtesy like play loud music in the garden or sat with my non standard exhaust motorcycle running it's nice to have a level of piece

Oh god, I've been muckspreading today.
And we had the sawbench going making posts.
And lambing sheep
And fixing my van
And sorting out a windblown tree
And I'm just about to go collect a trailer with the tractor.

Idiot.
Who me? it's a simple question. Did you do all this withing 100yds of other peoples houses. So far slightly more people that at least do less on a sunday than a normal "work day"

If we have work to do around houses especially spraying we try to organise it so that we don't have to on weekends. If we do we will try to do it on saturday instead. If we have to do it on a Sunday we will but just try and avoid where possible.
