Iv seen one of these for sale, would they row up 2 8ft rows in to one, has anyone used a similar machine or is it to much for them.

Yes I have one, works fine for me it can be hard to keep tines on one side the extended side but like I said it does the job probably not as pretty as a rake. Occasionally might miss a wee bit but that could be down to me oh and PS that is without gates on one side as it got bent!

My crop is never that heavy and got a bigger tractor since last season, so thought 2 in 2 1 would work better, that picture look a good enough job, this machine is handy money, half the price of an older rake, so l might just get it.

I have a haybob 380
Not as good as superzip, but big improvement on haybob 300

Does the job as they say I would like a rake but the superzip is handy as it will spread as well just pays to take your time.

When we had an 8 ft mower we used it all the time did a good job, only down side manual slide in and out and it takes a fair old shove to fold it up.dramming it hardly broke a tine spreading it would all the time !

they would only ted properly Closed up but raked at full width?

Yes I think you are correct only spreads a swathe at a time.

Iv seen and single rake on Facebook, 1500£, but the zip is 600£. I'm only doing 45 acres a season in July for sheep. Surely the zip would do my job.

You're supposed to use the gate to lever it in and out, makes it easy.

Yes pulling it out is easy but when it's a bit worn pushing it back in was a damned hard work
