Survey on multicut silage systems

There is no option for Beef+Sheep farms.

You don't specify what a Multicut system is. Is 2 cuts a multicut system.

In general, and over the season, 2 cuts can provide more and better silage than one cut. But more than 2 cuts, silage quality can increase, but dry-matter quantity tends to remain the same. That was shown to be the case at the Crichton Royal in the early 80s.

Thank you for the feedback, a multicut system is defined generally as more than 3 cuts of silage during a season in order to improve quality rather than aiming for yields per cut, hope that helps.
