Sweeping/cleaning the grain shed

Wife is an amazing women and last 3 years has cleaned out all 4 barns and the grain bins.

We have a big brute but this year I would like to surprise her with something to make her legs easier like a powered brush.

We are only new entrants so not real farmers and thus budget is limited to a few hundred pounds I was thinking something like this. Has anyone any thoughts.

As someone with Asthma , battery packs in everything from strimmer, chainsaw to leaf blower , have been a revelation to us. Light and easy to use, and surprisingly powerful.
I never thought a battery pack chainsaw, would do what it does

And get a good dust mask. A proper face fitting one with replacement filters

i've got a stihl petrol pwered one. only use it now to dry the m/bike. should sell it and get a small battery one instead. it was used for 3 yrs at harvest to sweep up grain floors, less dust than sweeping.

M18 Milwaukee leaf blower, more puff than a Stihl handheld petrol, lighter, easier to use.

Does a much better job than a brush, and quicker too.

The only problem I have with using a leaf blower with grain dust is the serious risk of a dust explosion.
- It would only take one spark to lift the roof off the shed. The video shows the primary and secondary explosions, first one probably caused by a hot bearing or similar, 2nd larger one caused by dust being shaken from the rest of the building.

Spoil her and hire a roadworks compressor for a week. Make up a lance with a length of 3/4" hose. I used to blow our dryer shed out top to bottom with that. Could do the whole building with 24 40 ton Condor bins in just over a day.
