T6080 lost electric spools after repair.

Hi guys,

Had a wiring fault on a T6080 in the loom (had rubbed through and touching frame) which was shorting out and popping fuse 41.... fixed the fault, secured harness and replaced fuse and all working great....

Had all the dash panels off to trace the wires at the start, so now it was working put it all back together again....but upon putting it back together, none of the spools are working... fuse is good, power is on the wire that was before dead, but just nothing at all.... Have also noticed that the spool valve icon has disappeared from the home screen on the inteliview display....Taken dash apart again thinking I had accidentally bumped a cable / unplugged something, but cant find anything wrong anywhere....

Anyone have any idea what could have occurred / anywhere I can start testing for power etc? Makes no sense as was working perfectly just 10 mins ago after the repair!

Thanks,

Do 6080s have a button on rear pillar to turn off spool valves and lift?

Have seen me accidentally knock switch on ours and turn them off.

If you go into remote valves on intelliview there is a padlock beside them all to indicate there locked.

There is indeed a lock switch, and also another switch beside it showing front / rear something ? Im a john deere man really so its all a bit vague to me...However have tried all the switchs in all positions and no joy...

The problem in Inteliview, is the remote section appears to have totally disappeared...as if the tractor doesn't see them / think it has them is what I am thinking, but cant figure out what has happened putting the dash back in to cause this!

Check you haven't accidentally unplugged the top instrument cluster above the front dash and check all the fuses. Theres a spool valve lock switch on the rear right pillar on t7s. Sounds like it might need reconfiguring . Have you access to a diagnostic plug so you can enter the h menu to see if the remotes are still there

Have checked all fuses, not checked above dash, but havent been anywhere near that so unlikely id think....

I dont have diag software... or is there something i can do to enable h menu?

Check you havnt disturb the big plug going into the processor behind the seat. Had trouble with electric spools on tsa and the fitter went straight to that processor to check but it turned out to be a faulty fuse connection
Yes you can enter the h menu without the plug by bridging 2 of the pins in the diagnostic port but im unsure which pins to bridge.
Do you have an error codes
Might also be worth checking the inline fuses on the side of the battery box if its the same as the early ones and tsa as they corrode

For anyone else reading this / having similer issue, found the problem in the end, bad 12v feed to the second module in ECU, which is what supplies the 5v for sensors etc, found it by noticing my 5v supply was low. Found problem and all working great again. Thanks for the advice.
A month without spools ?
