Hi, test drove 2020 t7.210 on 38” verdistins not a fan of them so done the deal and part of it was rims and tyres changed to 42’s Michelin, noticed top speed was 49kph on the 38’s and was still 49kph on the 42’s surely the bigger wheel would leave her higher geared? So does it read form a radar or speed sensor that needs set for the different wheels? Ps not a speed demon!! but would needa b near accurate for application rates….

If it has radar then yes between that and and the wheel speed sensor the TCU will work out the correct rolling circumference of the wheels to limit your top speed. Also with TMR regs the speed is set for homologation to no more than 50k. Will be accurate enough for application rates.

Unless our 2019 t7 210 reads high ours does 53kph on 38' mantis tyres
Ours will allow the top speed to be set at 53 on the screen too, as a preset. If you take it off cruise and use the pedal only it will go up to 55k - it’s like finding that extra 100rpm on an old tractor when you’ve pulled the hand throttle back and stand on the foot throttle too.
