There is a thread on here already which included these in the comments but was just wanting to here from people who are using them for basic management records ect and how they rated them. Cheers

Hi we have a few customers out there using the Tag-ie as they prefer the all in one individual recording but in a cost effective alternative to the likes of the Work About etc. Although these are on a different scale entirely. The Tag-ie is fine for a cost effective way of recording more detail than just the stick reader and then downloading it into a software program for management purposes or simply just cross compliance record keeping. It was one of the first readers we worked with way back and has evolved from its early days into Tag ie 2 and 3. Give Bob a call he is a good guy... Very pleased with mine, need to do a bit of learning on how to do some things so I can get more out of it but its so handy for lambing and weighing etc.

When your weighing does it record the weights or do you do that manually? I really like the look feel of them and the price is alot more reasonable. Just wanted to hear from people actually usimg them.

I do them manually but it will do it by Bluetooth if you have that on your weigher

The reader is good .I like it. However I dont like the computor program .not that easy.but its free. Im sure it could be tweaked by a geek.

Try in with our software for free. You are more than welcome to trail it for as long as you like. Its all fully functional and has no restrictions and works well with the Tag ie. Just download the software from our website and you have a fully working program zero obligation by the way! But at least it will show you how the Tag ie can be incorporated into your record keeping.

Thanks for that offer. I will try it I think. We had a job to get the program running to start.on our laptop. Bob was very helpfull and got us running. I think I need something a bit easier .

This is interesting, I don't find the Tagie program particularly handy, what with being Excel illiterate and all.
It would be very handy indeed to be able to toggle the tags in sequential order, for eg; for instance to be able to find a sheep from her management tag perhaps.

Roxan have a mobile app that works with ie2 . I found it very good.

I am sure a simple excel type inventory program could be made for us simple minded folks.

Agree with all above, we have blue tooth connection to weigh head, works well
