Thanks Wobs that was my 1st attempt at fencing, it's all drystone walls round here but that takes too long & not in my skill set (yet!)

I have some fencing for sheep to do and would be a fair novice if truth is told. We no longer have a post-driver but can get the lend of one, but would appreciate your opinions on fabricating a bit of heavy H-iron or 'U' section with heavy 4" and 6" tube sections by 6" long approx welded to the underside to slot the posts into, then attach this all to the Manitou forks to press the posts in??
I'm guessing 2m spacings between posts, with sheep wire and single strand of bullwire will be sufficient??

Help greatly appreciated

Use a post driver not a forklift, posts want to be 3 to 4m really. Get the strainers right and the wire tight are probably the two most important things to do.
