The problem is that in most countries the election process is geared towards the status quo, the system is set to give us the illusion of many choices while effectively only giving us an A or B choice with very little difference between A or B.

Quite right, but once the status quo has been changed, the choices change. My guess is that, here in the UK at least, there will probably be a third major political party in much less than a decade, unless... the 'establishment' starts to reflect public opinion rather than try to direct it.

Wow, even on Xmas eve with a half day of stockmarket trading the CRASH continues!! The DOW has dropped 5000 points from its October highs and still the rush to the exits hasn't turned disorderly.

One writer I enjoy to read (Jim Kunstler) has a theory that the run up to nearly 27000 was heavily assisted by the vast numbers of computerised algoryrhythms pushing things up on positive sentiment and now that positivity has stalled and turned negative the bots have changed direction as well and despite economists positive views on the US economy these algos are now "out of control" and hell bent on chasing the market back down to levels below when Trump got elected at around 16,000!!!!!!

Although Trump is bellyaching, I don't believe him because ultimately its the banksters system that will get destroyed (along with everyones financial investments) if this snowball continues to pick up pace!...……..it will.

And isn't it interesting that 1 minute before the markets closed at 6pm the S& P 500 dropped decisively into a bear market just hours before we celebrate the birth of the last man too chase the money changers (bankers) out of the temple!
Maybe these electronic algos are being guided by devine assistance at this the most holy time of the year, the coincidence is amazing!!

The only way to stall the collapse is low unemployment, and reduce trade deficits, funnily enough it's almost bullet proof if you do this, cant knock the house of cards over.
