A lot of German goods come out through Rotterdam ( The Rhine and all that). Maybe somebody at least is being sensible but I would not be sure. It may be a distinction between RORO and driven trucks. I ordered some machine parts for a German product and they were here from Rhineland within a week, including internal postage from the UK forwarder.Good man Bob!
