When selling a farm tell everyone when buying tell no one ...
20 one acre plots may have sold better? All depends who wants it. We sold a 20 acre block in Cheshire not long back, good ground, well drained, road frontage good access, level, square etc etc. Everything going for it as far as I could tell and struggled to find a buyer at all never mind good money.

1 final question, will arla pick up the milk? If yes, then it's got to be a bargain. That far down it certainly is, in all seriousness will be interesting to see what happens with it. Lump of a unit.

Lactallis in Stranraer and yew tree. First milk and there nestle suppliers could be as far down as that. In saying that @Thomas-milmain will know better than me if yew tree go as far down. Although spoke to consultant the other day and yew tree are after farmers in fife some who are on Sainsbury’s alignedHmmmm, so does that leave first milk? I'e been out there a few times. Lovley place
If you can't get a nestle contract for first milk I'd stuggle to pay the milk haulage for that farm, I don't think fm would pick up that milk. They have said the are turning down milk for being too far awayI’ll say no and here in lies the problem

Was at the holmhead farm sale on Saturday, things were going for crazy money!! Had to leave to look for bathrooms, which was great fun. Said no one ever when looking for bathrooms.Over Dumfries way not down with you. Bare land around 5 then some more depending on facilities houses. Would’ve loved this beauty. This one not so much. G Barbour again I’ll guess.
