All depends who wants it. We sold a 20 acre block in Cheshire not long back, good ground, well drained, road frontage good access, level, square etc etc. Everything going for it as far as I could tell and struggled to find a buyer at all never mind good money.

same as anywhere, not all Cheshire is the same.

Hmmmm, so does that leave first milk? I'e been out there a few times. Lovley place
Lactallis in Stranraer and yew tree. First milk and there nestle suppliers could be as far down as that. In saying that @Thomas-milmain will know better than me if yew tree go as far down. Although spoke to consultant the other day and yew tree are after farmers in fife some who are on Sainsbury’s aligned :scratchhead:

Over Dumfries way not down with you. Bare land around 5 then some more depending on facilities houses. Would’ve loved this beauty.

Was at the holmhead farm sale on Saturday, things were going for crazy money!! Had to leave to look for bathrooms, which was great fun. Said no one ever when looking for bathrooms.

did the farm at leswalt stranraer belong to a solicitors son who would start out around fifteen years ago, seem to recognize it from a farm walk years ago, he seemed to be doing a good job at the time.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
