Right it's not just @Jdunn55 that gets all the f**k ups.

Submersible that pumps parlour pit empty blocked last night during heavy rain, pit was full of water, ingress into milk pump so trip kept going and the for some inconceivable reason the guard on vacuum pump decided to come loose catch the fins on the pulley and snap half off to make it imbalanced.
Luckily have a couple of spare pumps.

Other than my calves escaping again and the incident with the flies, I've actually had a good week overall.
I'm just ignoring the bank account and the huge quantity of silage and hay I need to get on with (but the weather isn't playing ball) and everything seems ok!
Fingers crossed for a nice week of dry! (Emphasis on week not months to whoever's incharge of the weather)😂

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
