The folk with the blackies near Loch lomond impressed me the most. The farmer there has been ahead of the game for some years by the looks of it and they're always smiling.!
Me to they seem to be confident to go there own way, i like that, and it seems to be working wonders for them. The folk with the blackies near Loch lomond impressed me the most. The farmer there has been ahead of the game for some years by the looks of it and they're always smiling.!
The owner has nothing but bad luck when there's a camera present.Ironhide had a bit of a jinx on him.
Dave we stayed two nights with them on way back down from you and zebbede very good hosts and hospitality second to none. What you see is what you get and at the time Anne had bright purple hair. The folk with the blackies near Loch lomond impressed me the most. ...unlike Captain Wow up in the North - he can do no wrong
Or working on Christmas day. None of my friends or family believe I work on Christmas day. The very idea is alien to the majority of the population.Seeing them going out in all weathers may be normal for us, but I bet quite a few non farming folk thought "to hell with that!", and it put them off the "good life". Maybe even a few might have thought farmers actually work for their money....
Iffy? I reckon it was shot. I noticed it when they pulled the first calf, she was in the background all the time. She must throw some cracking calves to keep her round with no calf and a bag like that.
I'm not. That's not my breed of cattle or my farming system but I'm enjoying watching them at theirs. Martin and Mel are straightforward , honest and likeable to camera.QUOTE="taff, post: 2261684, member: 18876"]Getting a bit bored with the limo lot!
That must be one of the others, I thought they said this cow was old. Have to watch it on player now.Am I the only one that has heard the commentator say she was only five years old several times?

I enjoy the whole show but I think them , Sybil and George , and Anne and Bobby come across particularly well. Normal people doing pretty normal farming. We've been spoilt for good programmes about farming recently.
