I used Thistlex last year and although the thistles died they appeared to come back in the later part of the year........... but this year we have definitely got a noticeable less thistles on the farm than at any time since I have been farming the land.

.....by the bloke selling you the Forefront?..........:cautious:

mcpa does as decent a job as much more expensive options.
Efficacy is very much down to weather conditions and quality of application, as much as the product.

I’d go thistlex every time, sure mcpa is cheap and cheerful but won’t clear the field as well and for as long.

My man said defo Forefront

If you’re feeling flush then why not but thistlex will do very well.

Forgot to say. I usually mix my chemical with veg oil before mixing in the water.
Makes a fair difference to the end result.(y)
Have also used more expensive sprays (With & without oil) and thistles have always come back to some extent.(n):poop:

How much veg oil do you add to the tank? I use a wetting agent off the chemical supplier

Mix the spray with 50% - 100% oil, doesn't really matter, but do it before it goes near water. Obviously.
Continue at full dose rate/Ha.
Does the same as a wetter.
But you don't get chips for tea!
