Thornton 4x4 Breakers

Would recommend this firm in Halifax for parts for pick ups. They only break 4x4 and defenders
Theyve fitted a complete engine with only 9000 miles on for £2000 plus £600 fitting on my 2016 Navarra
It was losing coolant and Nissan garage fitted new egr valve and egr cooler at a cost of £2000 before deciding head must be cracked
When they announced a new head and gasket would be £4000 I decided enough was enough
Wish I’d found these breakers first. Next pickup will be gone before warranty runs out !

Superb firm, bought some alloys from them last year and they’re were spot on

Not convinced by their pricing: they priced up a used bonnet, bumper and grill for a current shape Ranger at £1000, which is the same price as the new parts from Ford.
(Both would have needed painting).

Spent many a struggling hour cannibalizing bits and pieces from a breakers yard for our old Marina estate and Volvo estate; prop-shaft and fuel tank for the Marina had me returning home triumphant but looking rather like Paul Robeson wearing mascara!!
