How on earth can you check wheel bolts on daily checks?? I know not many people do check daily but at least a visual check is better than nothing,,,,,,,and it looks ridiculous so for me it is ridiculous

Thinking outside of the box, but I wouldn’t be brave enough to try it. Bit of mud or tall crop/grass in it the rollers jam up and the whole lot starts spinning at 50kph.

I’m probably just too narrow minded tho.

@Norfolk Olly could get a demo of on the channel perhaps. Really put it to the test in a real world environment.

On my 13.6-38 wheels I reckon I could store a carefully folded pancake and a couple of screwdrivers!

Kind of OK in theory, until a golf ball sized stone gets jammed against the tyre valve, then it will start to look as sensible and practical as a new Defender external storage ‘Tw^t Box’ (TM pending).

I think it could be useful on our hedgecutting tractor, protect the wheel from thorns and keep all the crap we need instead of the cab full to the brim and a spare pto shaft tied to the weight block
