What (description) are you spraying off ? Theres a big difference between a bit of weed here and there and the other extreme of old grassland/ turf....What do you think
Depends on the weeds present. If its only tiny volunteers then read the label- product normally specifies 24-48 hours.
Have put roundup in with pre-emergence herbicides before so applied it after drilling and rolling, done it in many crops, certainly wheat and maize.
It's a field that was cut then grazed so not to much trash it's just that the time of year moving on its central scotland by the way so santa is on his on his way !!!!
I am always twitchy with grass seeds and other seeds that are not actually buried, in case any Glyphosate lands on the seed and buggers up germination. Personally, I spray first...We've sown then rounduped no problem. As long as seed not germinated.
Wheat and Maize are properly buried, so not at risk from any roundup hitting teh seeds.Depends on the weeds present. If its only tiny volunteers then read the label- product normally specifies 24-48 hours.

Moore have videos where they have drilled the grass seed and sprayed a few days after,so the seeds germinate before the acidity builds up
Agree, too much risk of active getting on seeds not buriedI would not do it with grass seed.
