it's a smoked sausage and chips, from what I can understand of reading behind the list of ingredients of the ones in the supermarkets, the main ingredient is reclaimed chicken off the factory floor:whistle:

Time to "fess up"..... I decided I was far too "wobbly" now I`m a desk jockey rather than active at work.
I started by increasing the walking in January .... 10,000 steps a day type thing.
I then stepped up to doing Parkrun. Its a free, local, timed 5k run against the clock. (www.parkrun.org.uk)
Now, I`m not of athletic build... think Minion you are about right, but I can plod along at a fair lick.
I decided to do it on Friday 1st Feb....... so with zero training my first run on Saturday 2nd Feb was 35mins 43secs (radical version of "couch 2 5k" not recommended!) ................... my most recent effort 24th March was 32min 41secs.

And I`ve lost about a stone so far.

Added bonus, Mrs M volunteers as a marshall so is there to see my pain & suffering!!

Another PB on Saturday..... 32 mins and 23 seconds.

Its not competitive....unless there is a group of 4 folk about 3 yards ahead of you as you turn the corner onto "Heart Attack Hill" where the finish is. By flip I found a turn of speed Mo Farrah would be proud of. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

A colleague and I have decided to start a healthy diet at work, so we ll take it in turn to bring nutritious healthy home cooked food for each other to have at work.
So yesterday she brought me a green smoothie made of kale, spinach and everything else she had green ( so it seems) in her house. Also a lovely bowl of buckwheat noodles with more green stuff in it and lots of fruit.
It was really lovely delicious and most importantly healthy. I eat the all thing and considering my lunch (and breakfast) usually consists of cigarettes and coffee a definite improvement, so I was so happy with my new found healthy lifestyle..........

Until about 5. 30 this morning:cautious:, when a rumbling sound, which I am pretty sure measured 7 on the Ritcher scale, was heard and especially very much felt in the South Side of London town, I cannot emphasize enough the south part here:sick:

So there is me jumping out of bed trying to make a mad dash to, using its technical term, the bog, and for some reasons I still don’t understand, I decided to pick up a few cups and plates laying around, so there is me juggling plates and cups on the way downstairs, feeling like a tightrope walker trying not to drop the plates:banghead:, having severe cramps and desperately trying to hold in whatever it was that wanted desperately to come out:eek:

Anyways I made it and after about 30 minutes I came out about 10 kgs lighter:hungover:. So now whilst I drink my morning coffee……… standing up:oops: , I am pondering, I really like my colleague, she is more than a co-worker, she s been a true and trusted friend for years …… but…………she s got to go….

My very sore derriere and internal organs want revenge, and there are billions of people on this Earth I m sure I can make a new friend.

Next week it s my turn to bring food in, she does not stand a chance, revenge will be mine, and now where is that damn toilet :shifty:

It's because it's been a sudden change from your normal diet tbh, so your body reacts like that. DW I'm same if food is too rich. If I eat steak or rich meaty sauces with tons of cheese or dairy, sheep's and buffalo ofc, I'm same. Yesterday I had a milkshake, cows milk, with whipped cream, well a frappe really.... I had cramps, I felt bloated, I wanted to throw up... Horrible! I guess you just need to make small changes, gradual changes. You'll find your bodies in shock ATM from the change. So take it a bit slower :) slowly replace white carbs with brown carbs, don't cut all white carbs out tho just have them every so often, brown carbs are slower releasing meaning you need less to eat ;)

Hope you're ok tho :)
That s the worst part:meh:, I am actually feeling very good:(

Try her on some of my dog food.
It wasn't quite to my taste last night, but it's put a lovely shine to his coat, so it must be good for you!(y)
thanks but I don t want to put a shine on her fur(n)
I want her to go BOOOM and spill her guts out like I did, and I want her to stop having that little smile on her face like she is doing me a big favor:mad:
Like you know trying to make me healthier, what s next..... running , drinking water, I cant have that, I have to stop her:grumpy:

With a 10% improvement in 2.5 months I`m not a long way off, its more about doing the good bits consistently.....with fewer spells of "slow & gasping" !! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It's about breathing deeply-ish when running. Regulating your breath, so it's not fast in or out. Take slower and deeper breaths. Careful it takes quite a bit of practice. Took me a few mins to master, but then I'm younger ;) bro taught me that :D

I've been trying to run the course a couple of times during the week too, first thing in the morning, and I actually managed to make it round without a walky section a couple of days ago, even up the wet hill. Hopefully I can do it again tomorrow morning!
