Are the moment we're using a Horizontal Electric TMR feeding machine to produce our winter feed in China.

We need to purchase several more so wondering whether anyone has any alternative solutions for these machines on the basis that electricity is much cheaper than diesel? Or is Goke already the best alternative?

These make some seriously big mixers that are trailled or static. What about using lorries like the USA if you have a lot to do?

+ 1 for Trioliet.
Ours has had thousands of tonnes through it and with a spiral refurb, good for another 3-4 years then we might reline it

I know from looking and talking to people about the 60cuM static ones used for Biogas plants that they are known for their excellent mixing and low maintenance requirements.

You're surely not narrow minded enough to think that not passing on information will stop him from finding out by some other means.

Thank you for your help. We were down in Queensland, Australia on the weekend looking at machinery in Toowoomba.. You're right.. there's plenty of people happy to supply.

I don't know why you are against our project in China? What do you have against being progressive and adventurous?

Probably some notion that you have fields the size of Wales and could have some economies of scale ( and perhaps no minimum wage)

I was at a farm in Sweden with a group, all astonished that the new shed was square and the silage went from the tower down to be fed out by some sort of monorail cart. Someone manage to translate diet feeder into Swedish with caused laughter from our host who explained that it took most of a day to start a tractor in their part of the world, so if you are wanting to run on electric it might be worth looking at how they do it in these frozen places

funny thing is when I worked on Aussie 1990's boss I worked for looked at going in to Russia cropping and know of alot of uk outfits brought land or rented land in Eastern Europe
the china thing is not new and I think same thing happening in some of old Russia near the china boarder
along with alot of other countries in the world opening up to large scale agri developments
alot of areas poor smaller farmer that have left. area to work in towns leading to more land unused or up scaling with larger gear better ideas etc.
