Wanted, someone to pig drill :D approx 10 acres of ir/ rape mix :cautious:

Mind you I'm not sure if it will like ex. oats they tend to be a bit hostile don't they?

Its nice ground though .

Put in 10 acres with this today borrowed off a neighbour, worked incredibly accurate at 1kg/acre at 8mph so went over at an angle the second pass 👍🏻 The ground was disc’d first.

been in 28 days though, looks like it could've done with a bit of n ...or something, nice big flat field as well.
My mistake ---went in 13/8/21 so 23 days
However, right or wrong my policy is to sow ---end of story
No sprays , no fert ---too easy to pour cash into what should be a cheap crop
Just sow plenty and accept some failure/poor crops
I want to feed for £1/month/head

How do you direct drill turnips without sprays ,or is it stubble and do you have your own drill, just trying to get my head around what it's cost you

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
