To spray or not to spray

Have a piece of land for reseeding, it’s been grazed really tight. Was considering ploughing it without spraying off, would I be making a big mistake??

I s there docks ?

If not I would just plough, its dry now and that will kill as well as glypho ste, also its acting slowly as well atm in this cool temp, where as you could start ploughing tomorrow
And save the cost of spraying.

No docks in the patch at all, it just needs freshening up really.

What weed burden any couch or bent in it?

Plough asap then , its coming back nice atm.
There will a be few turfs on the headland but I wouldnt worry about that
Make sure its ploughed nice and level , so that it wont ti need to be worked deeper than necessary which for reseeding ain't very deep.

After a few days when its aired off Roll it first before you do anything else, that will help to keep the old turf down under.

I’ve just ploughed some ground we direct drilled turnips into a sprayed off turf, and Cambridge rolled it, then was gonna seed it an flat roll it, do you think it’s a bit cold yet to drill it or get it in the ground now an by the time it comes up it should of warmed up??

It is a bit early yet, for grass seeding but more importantly if thers clover in the mix,........ and darned cold .



If you are going to leave it, for a week or so, leave it rolled and not worked down,
