Discard some stubbles in the hope there might be some rain soon to get some forage crops in. Not much chance of loosing moisture by doing it , cause there isn’t any .

OK, so in the absense of a response - one assumes it is sprayed because we always do it that way to cover every eventuality (y)

Soz ive been busy
Its an agent run farm
but the soil changes a lot and also large trees/wooded Areas where it is still doughy and green
The picture was meant to just show how unusual it is for up er that there is no green at side of the tram lines
If it where mine i may off just done the green bits by hand or part boom so as to saved money
There is also still some green under neath so it means it can be baled straight after cutting
And regard time to combine it will get its 7. Day as its my name on sheets and i would be up -- with out a paddle if the farm got knocked back on payments lol

Erm, probably not. Still officially signed off for a week yet. I must not be doing to much though because I get very little pain. Found that digger driving is worst thing to do

Its remarkable that your fully back to work so soon, which can only be a good thing(y)

And don’t worry, you will get better at the digger driving with practice ;)(y)

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
