If anyone has any suggestions for how to raise a child, while farming, please let me know....

Travel cot. It can be folded up and down fairly easy to move, and until the child is big enough to climb out, you can put them in one with some toys and know where they are and have them near you without having to watch them constantly.

Obviously don't leave them in on their own if you are not working in one place

Buy all the 'baby magazines ' that you can find, read them from cover to cover, then take them out and burn them!
Arrange to have your wages paid directly to Boots & Mothercare. Sell your sports car and buy a beige Volvo estate.

Only kidding! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Prepare to fall in love like you've never been before. They're hard work at times but sooooooo worth it that you'll wonder how you lived without them :love:

Our eldest managed in a back-pack for some time, she used to watch over my shoulder all the time. I do remember thinking that she might get a warped sense of what fathers get up to whilst sewing up a prolapsed sow one Christmas morning.

She is nearly 30 now and doesn't like farming.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
