Not drilled any with the Claydon this Autumn, will put the winter beans in with it hopefully.
With afew days dry weather and untouched stubbles considering trying the Claydon on some 2nd wheat, perhaps if dry enough tickle through with a spring tine first?
Concerned this time of year with water sitting in channel etc
Thoughts and experiences appreciated

I am in the same boat as you no claydon wheat drilling done yet, I'm considering putting zig zag harrows on the drill to try and improve the covering aspect..

Ok thanks for that. Are you running any depth with the front legs? I ask because I still have a lot to drill, some ploughed some mintilled and some stubbles.

Drill headlands last, and if GPS is available, do every other run across the field to make turning easier.
The go over the worst trafficked areas using the drill as a cultivator, it won't look pretty, but you'll have crop.
