Tool deals/ workshop consumables sticky

By chance I was in Lidl yesterday and spotted the cutter and couldn't resist at the price. Out of the box looks to be well made - although obviously what's under the cover actually counts. I've given it a quick trial on a piece of rusty 6mm angle iron that was lying around and it cut through without any problem. I don't need to cut metal very often so it looks to be a useful tool to have around for the odd occasion I do.

Took a chance on one myself and some. o rings at the same time.
Just by chance my mate was in there and he ended up with one to. In fact the last 4 were sold to local farmers in the space of 30 mins from me going in. Word travels fast around here about the chance of something cheap.

A point to be aware of, the air hose needs what I think are called euro connectors which were different to the PCL (??) connections I have on all my (rather old) air tools. I bought a set of these as I wasn't sure what adapter I needed.

Ended up just using the connector in the bottom left which screwed into a PCL fitting.

Just after leaving the Lidl in Antrim and there’s at least 12 plasma cutters available possibly more. I bought one last year and despite my best efforts I haven’t killed it yet.

Consumables can be reasonable on amazon and ebay

Seen a Dewalt flexvolt drill with 2x 6ah 54v batteries, charger and case for a good price.
£291 fast and free delivery. I got a 10% voucher code and then 20 vat, makes it about £218. Not seen it this cheap before. From a dewalt authorised dealer as well.
