My age 2 has stopped sending time and date info?
Thanks

Will this work as soon as it's plugged in or do you need new software anything?
Tried a second hand one yesterday but it wasn't picking up gps signal. The light on the sgr1 was red should it be a different colour?

Light in sgr should be green, red is no GPS, orange is raw GPS, green is dgps
Just ensure the gx45 screen is set right and it'll work.
We would send direct them talk you through over the phone how to adjust the screen. We may even send software for screen on a USB stick should you need it

When i tried that one yesterday, i changed the receiver to sgr1 and it restarted to apply settings. When it restarted it said no gps, check your connections or continue to wait. The light on sgr was red and when i waited nothing happened. Is there something else i should have done or do you think there could have been something wrong with the second hand receiver?
Thanks for your help

We are in a rural place and it's a third party company so they don't no much about gps. It was a second hand receiver they got sent from their parent company. What should the baud rate be and should it have to be reset for a different receiver? Thanks

Opinions please?? I bought a topcon x14 and SGR 1 receiver back in April 2016. Have only used it 6 or so times from then. In August 2016(Four months after purchase) a "NO GPS" signal appeared so I called the company I bought it from and they came out and after sometime fiddling with wires he came to the conclusion it was a faulty SGR 1 receiver and installed a new one under warranty. Worked a treat.

Yesterday I went to use it again and the same signal appeared(10 months after purchase) so I called the company again and got a very rude reply. He is saying that it is the SGR 1 receiver again and it is water damage and it's my fault for not taking it off the roof of the tractor after every time I am finished with it. Should I really have to take it off the roof everytime? I was not explained this at the time off purchase and also he did not make this clear again when he replaced the SGR 1 reciever under warranty in August 2016.

It cost £1200 to buy and I would not like to think I would have to buy a new receiver after such a short time
Any thoughts?

Same trouble here too. Receiver brand new July '16.Without it now 8 weeks. Got a call a fortnight ago to say the part that's gone isn't covered under warranty and looking for €500+Vat. Not acceptable Imo and very poor service from Topcon Ireland.

i have heard nothing about mine despite ringing every week.getting a teejet and trimble on demo this week ,i won't be giving any money to repair something under 12 mt warranty,a call to the dealer page in the ifj might be in order

as above i bought a x14 and sgr 1 thought it would be better than using blob marker ,less than 2 years old and has got no gps signal sent back for repair and can't repair is water damaged! is only used when i apply fertilizer on grass then taken off tractor and goes back in the box in me house n. want £750 for new receiver ,after reading above is it worth spending the money or just go back to the blobber very annoyed and dissapointed with what is supposed to be a premium make but seems a very poorly made product.

a lot of the new sgr1 are suffering water damage, talk to your dealer

The spec sheet says it's IP66 rated - and good for -40 to 85C operational temperature. Higher IP ratings basically are submersion proof.

So if these units are failing with water ingress it's simply not up to spec and should be repaired/replaced at no charge.

It’s a comms issue, either wrong baud rate or a physical broken wire
Hello sorry to butt in I have a AGCO/Topcon AGI-4 receiver that is not picking up GNSS signal when in RTK even though it works fine on EGNOS , in RTK the leds on the receiver flash say nine times green eight times orange, I take it this is counting the GPS and Glonass satalites it is seeing?
On the Data4 screen it logs into RTK2go corrections OK and says it's receiving data but the GNSS signal strength meter shows Red could this be a software issue or broken wire as it worked fine about a month ago.
Once again sorry for the intrustion.

I reset the gnss state, and recalibrated compass etc, also I noticed the correction source led on the receiver flashes green very fast is this correct or should it be a solid green when receiving corrections?
