Why not buy a Hilux whilst leaning on Toyota for a guaranteed buyback agreement pending delivery of what you ordered.

yes am trying that at this moment in time awaiting local dealerships reply as do not believe main Toyota uk will do this with an unregistered vehicle also asked CLA to put pressure on Toyota fleet sales if possible thanks for your advice.

I guess a commercial Land Cruiser from a dealer in Ireland would be far too expensive? Most if the Irish dealers have them in stock. Your price would be the excluding VAT price here less 13.3% Vehicle Registration tax so approx €32k for a manual in either short or long wheelbase. https://www.toyota.ie/models/landcruiser/index.json These vehicles are higher spec than the UK utility model.

yes it has arrived still at dealership still waiting pdi managed to pay for it on the 27th march but then could not register it because it had been frozen no one even Knows what frozen is please no jokes. Managed to get it unfrozen and registered with tax and insurance at 16.30 on Friday 5th April only 30 minutes before admin finished so just beat the deadline. what a nightmare in all honesty will never buy a Toyota ever again held to the last minutes and treated like something someone trod in on the street. Believe it is a great product although can not verify that yet but to purchase one forget it.

Sounds like a right purchase nightmare. Hope you like it when you finally get your hands on it! (y)

that tows 3t ,,, clever people these jap marketing men :banghead:
They have a Worldwide market......

No brighter than the hordes of Brit farmers, builders and other trades who've bought L200s in the past with 2700kg limit and Navaras on 2600kg and just crack away or the number of folks running 14ft tri-axle trailers with no more (legal) payload than a 12ft tandem ..............

Had the landcruiser swb for a few days .
My brother thought it was nowhere near as
Quiet as the Hilux and was a bit disappointed.

May aswell buy the better speced pickup which
Is already plated to tow 3.5t.
