Do radar sensors under tractors for speed readings work in long crops ( wheat at flag leaf stage just brushing under front axle?. if driving at 10kph in our Massey it ranges from 8 to 12kph in about 30 seconds.

Got one on a JD 6930 that has 2 heads 1 looking forward the other looking back and it's fine in everything except rape occasionally . Gps has sorted out forward speed for me .

I’m plugged into the crown wheel pin for my speed pulse but the radar keeps overriding it, if I unplug the radar it’s fine. All it needs is a switch putting in so I can turn it off easily as the plug is a half hour job to get to. But Agco won’t do that so dealer says. They are going to fit a new radar, but I can’t see how that will help.

our wheat is a bit more southern than yours.
