Trailed forage harvesters

There’s not many sights better than seeing a trailed forager side loading!

We still have a JD 3765 parked up in the shed; spout extension to side load, wide pickup for when dad used to put 2 into 1 with a Taarup 307 autoswather.

Now I ring the contractor to do the chopping. Finding drivers was/is our problem!
do you have photos of the 3765 with wide pickup ?

A few years ago I came across an immaculate 3765 on the Llynn peninsula in N Wales. It was in such good condition and properly oiled up I suggested the farmer keep it as it will appreciate in value. I hope he did as it will be a great machine for the nostalgic collectors.

I’ve posted these in the past but here’s a few pic of silage time 8-10 years back

Come on people, let’s see some more trailed foragers in action this season. I am sure there are many particularly in Scotland still working on small areas; New Holland’s, Deutz Fahr, Claas, Taarup and JF to name but a few. Also must be the odd “engine on” ones still working as well?

Here you go
Only vid I took this year.
Old JF900 on a TM140, pretty good match, much more power and the chopper would be protesting.
We do about 150acre/year one cut silage between mine and my father in-laws.
Young lad got the autosteer to work while chopping as well!![
