Trailer for moving muck

I’ve been offered some pig manure from a local farmer, does Farm Assurance allow me to use a grain trailer to move it (and use it for grain again) or are the rules similar to TASCC?

I wouldn't worry about it. Just clean it after

If you’re worried, hire a trailer................ bet I know what that trailer will be doing next summer though

So what would happen if you bought a second hand trailer which could have done anything before your ownership or would that not be allowed

If you have two trailers then one is dedicated grain only to tick the form.

I'm sure all our imported grain will be hauled in trailers dedicated to grain
And all the dockside grainstores are vermin and bird proof

Just had my virtual inspection this week she umed and arrived about my trailers being used for muck but convinced her they were cleaned thourally and disinfected also I said do t no how the human race has survived for millennia

Doesn't appear to stop local veg growers carting poultry muck with trailers that look suspiciously like the ones that are used for potatoes, onions etc.

Get asked if we haul cattle, pig or poultry muck, I say no which is true, didnt mention the 200 plus loads of horse sh!t we do haul

Don’t know about importing Muck but they are fine with our home produced cattle muck on grain trailers as long as you write down when it was cleaned and sanitised

Until you deliver into another store.

Our inspector backed down when I said we'd have to sell both our trailers and buy 2 new ones (no guarantee that a used trailer has not been used for muck) and another for muck. The rule is a nonsense and they all know it.
