Iā€™ve been offered some pig manure from a local farmer, does Farm Assurance allow me to use a grain trailer to move it (and use it for grain again) or are the rules similar to TASCC?

not allowed

but as we all know RT is s nonsense so as long as its clean the day of inspection who will ever know

Red Tractor ā€œturning honest farmers into liars since 2000ā€ maybe this could be their new slogan ?

Just had my virtual inspection this week she umed and arrived about my trailers being used for muck but convinced her they were cleaned thourally and disinfected also I said do t no how the human race has survived for millennia
As part of our farm assurance scheme we have to provide date we disinfected grain trailer with food grade disinfectant.

Last time we had the gestapo here and they asked about grain trailer washing dates I told them I had better things to do than go running into the house than write down wen I had washed something.

also pointed out they had walked past the grain trailer in the shed and could see it was clean.

they also asked for a date wen we serviced the combine

I again pointed out we had tinkered with it on and off over a 6 month period so write all of the dates downšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I wonder how long before there are rules that animal excrement is not allowed on land that is used for food production!
