Trailer reversing lights

you not got Datatronic3 screen in yours? obly those that had the reverse camera version of these had the relay in from factory in seems !
Nowt stopping you running 2 x 55w halogens on that pin now !! all of mine are LEDs fed off it now tho.

The 5400 series can be done as well there is a spare relay plug behind the panel down the righthand side of the dash .
I've done it on our 54 plate 5455 on the feeder wagon, mind you if you get a fault code where the green and red led's on the dash flash the code the reversing lights on the trailer flash the code as well. It's like a disco strobe light at night lol.

Ok then, on the nose of my 7480 there is a power socket for side lights work lights etc

The worklamp pin comes live with the step worklamps
There is a button on the light control pad that I would assume lit up the front lights

Is this a case of relay swoping or is that the way they are

never seen anyone figure out how to enable that spare worklight feature or where the actual wiring is to do so?

Depending on how the Data3 was specced so had the camera option in the menu if yours has that then the FogLight pin as such will be live when tractor is in reverse
if it doesnt have that feature all you need a small yellow narrow relay plugging in & then its all active

Yes got all that live now with a relay

The front pin is live with the steps lights but the switch in the cab seems dead

Yeah that front of bonnet switch does nothing in all 6400/7400 series
It was only used it seems on the 8400 models unless anyone knows how to enable it?
