Might be looking to sell our 2001 68plus if I find the right thing to replace it with.Resurrecting an old thread, any decent TX 64 OR 65 PLUS abouts or due for sale over the next few months. TIA
Would start to consider a 6 walker if I can't find a 5 walker, how many hours are on it, is that a 20ft on it in your profile pic.Might be looking to sell our 2001 68plus if I find the right thing to replace it with.
Yes it’s the one in my profile pic, 24ft. From memory somewhere around 31/3200 hours on the drum.Would start to consider a 6 walker if I can't find a 5 walker, how many hours are on it, is that a 20ft on it in your profile pic.
Seen that one earlier, real nice looking combine but I'm sure it'd be out of budgetWould this be the slightly newer equivalent here?

Cheers for the reply, I've just started looking so at the moment I'm hoping to find one with less than 3000 engine hours as my current TX34 has 3300 hours I don't really want to change to a higher houred machineI've got a 97 tx 64 that someone is pondering over. Maybe available in time.
SL sieves, 17ft lateral float, 3300 drum hours.
Remember these combines are over 20 years old now so 3000 hrs is only 150 a year. Mines cuts less than 200 and still clocks 50!Cheers for the reply, I've just started looking so at the moment I'm hoping to find one with less than 3000 engine hours as my current TX34 has 3300 hours I don't really want to change to a higher houred machine
I know I've probably left it a few years too late, there are still some about though just take some finding https://www.agricar.co.uk/item/14482/agricar/New-Holland-TX63-Combine.html a bit too expensive at that, would probably be as well struggle on another year and look at a CX next year if one can't be found.Remember these combines are over 20 years old now so 3000 hrs is only 150 a year. Good luck though, I imagine they're out there somewhere!
Better the devil you know with old combines I feel.Unless your 34 is giving serious bother I would keep it for another year or 2,then the right combine will turn up when you’re not actively looking.I know I've probably left it a few years too late, there are still some about though just take some finding https://www.agricar.co.uk/item/14482/agricar/New-Holland-TX63-Combine.html a bit too expensive at that, would probably be as well struggle on another year and look at a CX next year if one can't be found.

All of the above i would say.Why are older NH combined more sort after than other breed, is it reliability, parts easy to access or the job they do?
