Multiples of 50kg (1 hundredweight) make it SOOOOO simple- numbers on bag= units you are putting on. I always gave my recommendations in units. How the heck a farmer made his fertiliser spreader put it on mind (all done in kg/ha I assume) I have no idea.

The real fun starts when you are talking about slurry and everyone is in units/1000 gallons... Ask any farmer how big his tanker or slurry store is and it's in gallons...every.damned.time.

50 units N will be 62.5 kg/ha N, but is that what you mean?? That would be 135kg Urea/Ha or 55kg Urea per acre.
