hi to the management of tff ,today I have received an un asked for alert from tff re a company called oxbury, I would like to know if this is an authorised contact by yourself, or a scam and I would like to know how to block such like as I dont seem to be able to .
I would also not wish to receive any more unsolicited advertising contacts relating to any subject through tff I have no objection to side adverts etc but I fear this could be the thin edge of the wedge

It is a system wide alert for the new farming bank called Oxbury Bank. The only way to opt out of these is to upgrade to advert free. We use alerts for shows, webinars and product launches. Nobody can "use" the alert system it has to be authorized by ourselves. Receiving such alerts seems a small price to pay for a free service, but you can upgrade if you think the cost/benefit isn't right for you personally.

ok, I was just a tad concerned that it was from somebody or some place that i did not know of or wasnt a reply to a post or in this day an age a scammer ,I have no issue with adverts per se such as the ones on the page im currently in the process of looking at as im fully aware that such ads help pay for our fun or interest but I do not like the way this ad came into me and the option of blocking them or such like in the future contacting me does not seem to be as simple as it could/should be.
cheers

What is this 'Oxbury Bank'? It's not another Nationwide Finance fiasco is it? Or the broker who put stuff through a company that is, in my opinion, a lender of last resort to people who they bend over a barrel and…?

It is a new bank, like Lloyds, HSBC, etc are banks. And follows the same rules. But they only operate within farming. So you have saving accounts with them or loan accounts. We have applied for a saving account. They have asked the farming trade to place funds with them and they in turn lend these funds to farmers. They are a challenger bank in farming the same way Starling and Monzo are in the main world. I've spoken to the whole team including the founders and I like what they are trying to do.

This is all the content about them on here.

Its not that a new kid on the block is trying to start a business more that I dont like and wont look to do business with an unsolicited ad ,it will go into junk along with those pleas from helga from germany who regular offers her services along with olga and several others and the guy from somewhere in africa who just needs a few funds to release millions who aparently think they know what im need of .

Mine was included in a bulk delete of emails that might contain any old rubbish.

Interesting concept but I'm afraid you persisted in advertising and defending, what I and many others considered to be, dodgy financial companies in the not-too-distant past. So while I will have a look at an interesting concept, it will not be without eyes being wide open.

When I signed up to the forum did I agree to advertising emails from third parties, albeit through the disguise of a TFF email?

Dont think I like it very much.
