Hi All
There must be plenty of you out there will experience of these machines. I would like any comments you have on them and any alternatives and why I should consider any of these instead. Please.

The carrier works best with some forward speed in the mix so plan your required workrate around forward speed rather than working width.

You may want to price the cost of replacement discs and bearings when considering a carrier. Much will also depend on the nature of your land and what you are trying to achieve with it. The Rexius twin was/is a heavier machine that did a better effect in secondary cultivations but that is only my opinion based on one particular soil type.

Depending on the conditions the footwear your tractor is on may be a factor as narrow boots can cause wheelings that the carrier won't necessarily ameliorate- wider tyres or even tracks help a lot here as they can enhance my first point without necessarily causing wheelings. Good machines but there are many other options, depends what you are trying to do.

I want to use it for shallow stubble cultivation and chopping up cover crop residues on light land. I tried a Heva disc roller (I think it's called) but it was so easy to get bouncing.

All these machines bounce at some point, you just need enough grunt to pull it through to a higher speed.
We have a Heva, which is unusable between 9-13kph, but at 14+ is a different machine with not a hint of bounce, normally go at 16+.

Price is the main reason not to buy them, so expensive compared to the rest. Brillant bit of kit but the rest have caught up. Priced a lot of different models at harvest for a 6m.
