Desperate call by Health Secretary Matt Hancock on news this morning for any engineering firms that can build ventilators he will take them all as needed here and long afterwards for rest of the World?
He stated 1950's technology and is putting blue prints on net soon???

What happens when not the virus but the equipment kills ?
Its a given that the new ' makers' would simply contribute their capacity to produce components for assembly to the design, material spec and inspection standards used by the existing maker, who from their existing capacity, are unable to make more than their stated output of 30 per week. While an engineer currently engaged in other specialities may be a lesser experienced person in the speciality of medical equipment, they would surely be an improvement upon a layman, that being the alternative at this time.
