Put in a order 6th of Jan , right in the teeth of the customs issues but 8 needed it anyway (energiser) they kept me updated but I did send one chaser email , got it on about the 31st iirc.

Worth the wait because its good stuff ime.
Reasons given were that the paperwork was wrong and it got sent back from export customs point to base a couple of times.

Are you sure its not a courier issue instead ?

Yes, I have been happy in the past with their goods, but not impressed with waiting nearly a month.... Hell, I get stuff from China quicker. I want to get a field paddocked up as soon as I can travel!!

What is annoying, is no reponse to email chasing... and no other contact.

I think it will be my last order...

I have used them a fair bit. Was looking for more plastic stakes last week, and their website states problems with border crossings, so presumably brexit related.

I also use ukcountrystore.co.uk who had what appears to be the same stakes I've had at similar prices so ordered from them instead. They did have a note on their website warning of possible delays due to couriers not collecting because of snow, but stakes arrived Saturday so all good.

I ordered 3 weeks ago today - 26th Jan, emailed/contacted through the website last week and had a reply saying it had been dispatched on the 2nd Feb and it was with UPS with expected delivery between 3-15 days. I had a set of rutland reels collapse/break so currently have wire out on fields I’m not using for another month so that I can do my moves on green crop - the reels coming from them were to collect all the wire back in. Seriously unimpressed!

I have emailed and also contacted Voss through eBay... I paid through eBay, so will start proceedings to recover my money and go elsewhere. If nothing else it will focus their minds. I have had no confirmation of ANYTHING since the 18th Jan

Same here, I prdered replacement reels for the same type of job as yours.

Also a solar energiser as part of a grant application.... Needs to be sent with photo of unit here!

No idea what the problem is, as they are not communicating.....

I would not recommend anyone uses them at present!

I had a rechargeable head torch battery arrive a couple of days ago, ordered from a ‘UK’ company that I’ve used before a month ago and despatched from their French warehouse (unbeknown to me at the time of ordering). The delay was in clearing customs apparently but agree, poor communication is the quickest way to lose future custom.

At least we’ve taken back control of our borders though.👍

I managed to speak to someone at Voss about 2 months ago, for insulators and some lead out cable. She said they couldn’t take a card payment over the phone , and I had to do it on line.
Anyway tried the e mail link to pay, and it didn’t work. Sod that, and phoned powered pasture . Friendly person on the phone, paid by card, delivered in 2 days ! (y)
