VRS RTK, FM750, Centipede issues.

Neighbours have installed their own base station (F9P) and are successfully using their own Centipede VRS signal through AgOpen GPS receivers.
They have kindly given me the login details, but while it will generate a VRS connection on my Trimble FM750 it won’t provide any accuracy or CMR age, and ‘Base ID’ is blank.
My FM750 was previously working with a commercial signal using the same RTCM 3 (legacy) and 6 messages as the current signal.
When I enter the centipede login details into the RTKchecker app for mount point, caster and port number it generates a successful connection. But there is no username and password set on Centipede and they have to be left blank. Does Trimble need a username and password, or what else might be causing the low position quality?
I’ve tried turning Xfill on and off, no difference.

Your active GNSS source is "DGPS/EGNOS", not RTK. EGNOS is only for GPS satellites, 10 is ok for just GPS.
But it’s configured in the GNSS menu as RTK, the line in the picture above shows the configured GNSS source as RTK, and I presume that the ‘active source’ will only change to RTK when it detects a valid RTK correction.

Well, my understanding is the same, the issue being no valid RTK corrections and that hopefully gets fixed the way andy suggested.

Update: still no luck with the local Centipede connection, but @e3120 has been kind enough to pass on the details of his RTK2Go base which is working on my FM-750. He has also tried my neighbours Centipede base settings and it works on his AgOpenGPS with or without a username or password.
I can't see why the centipede base isn't working at my end, it's using the same 6 messages and 'periodicity' as the previous subscription service, and it is showing the 750 to be connected to VRS on the screen, just without any CMR age and it doesn't go beyond 2 bars of signal.

I guess the working base is a bit far away as you've only got float with 11 satellites? Should not matter here, the correction seems compatible.

Since there is no feedback yet, perhaps you could give more info about the working base. Which exact RTCM messages are the two sending and what is the RTCM 1008 content?

I assume e3120 is using F9P on the rover too, F9P is much more forgiving with the correction signal than an FM750. I assume FM750 accepts MSM messages even if it appears to be a dual constellation receiver. The manual did not give any details.
