Weighted woven silage sheets/ alternatives to tyres

Going back into maize silage this year (about 60 acres) so will be building an extra clamp. Having disposed of all the old tyres from when we stoped maize 6 years ago I am looking at alternatves. In the past we have also used straw bales on top but not a cheap option this year!

Still not very cheap compared to tyres though....

We used to use tyre side walls when we grew maize. Found they where very effective and easy to use.
Have lots kicking about surplus, pm me if they are any interest to you.
