I bought a 1/2” Snap on one probably 10 years ago now, it still works very very well but the batteries are starting to get done now.

Best thing to do with that is sell it on ebay to some idiot that likes over priced gear and you will almost have enough to upgrade to Milwaukee.

That's what I did years ago.

Just had a look at Milwaukee, what the hell do all the letters mean on the models?
Looked at a M18BIW12-502C 18V or a M18ONEFHIWF12-501X ?
What's the difference please?
Presumably one is heavier duty?

M18 means 18 volt,ONE means " One key " which links it to your phone on Bluetooth, F is fuel so it's the newer brushless range,HI is high power don't know what WF actually means but it's an impact wrench and 501 means one 5 amp battery. Mine is same power but without ONE in the number and 502 so two batteries.? . And I think the X means no charger, C would mean there is. Going back to bed now

Makita numbers are just the same ,,very confusing,,if you buy a bare tool it the model number with a Z at the end ,if it's a twin pack in a box it's another number, if it comes with one battery or a charger it's something else .

If l remember right WF is with friction ring ?

But in a box with a charger and a battery and they put RTJ after the model number because it's a kit ,,nothing is ever simple
You see DeWalt ones a bit cheaper than usual and there are two types of fitting, either pin or friction ring, just to add even more. Pin types break which is why they're less.

A dildo saw?????

Probably not the place but once you've seen the image you'll never look at a reciprocating saw the same way ever again!
