The tyre tracks usually! How do you find it if you leave it in a field?
A bit like the walker I encountered this morning, Dark clothing, walking with her back to oncoming traffic and wearing headphones. We have a dark green pickup which merges beautifully with hedges and trees, particularly where there are trees each side of the road or on a road through a forest. If we didn't put the lights on then we would be invisible.
it will end up like amber lights lost in a sea of lightsBecause it makes the vehicle more visible and reduces accidents, which is why a number of vehicles have day time running lights, not just Volvos.
What grinds my gears is drivers who flash their lights to let you know yours are on,
also if you are involved in an accident they will ask was it a bright day were your lights on if you say I was on a dipped beam they can't really argue, when asked about visibility very few will say it was exelentBecause it makes the vehicle more visible and reduces accidents, which is why a number of vehicles have day time running lights, not just Volvos.

Why wasn't the cage strong enough to cope with Plymouth weather?
Well I'll ask what everyone else is thinking!Trying to change gas tariff but couldn't as online sites won't accept zero standing charge and zero usages (because I haven't used gas in 12yrs with a solid fuel rayburn).
Finally got through to somebody ,,on an actual phone call where you speak to a human being ,that was English and in this country and got onto their zero SC tariff,, Yey.
And hour and half of my life I'll never get back
Never trust a Plymuff beaver
You think he's gone down Union Street?
It's where all the sailors look for beaver.
Because the meter is still connected to the mains incoming supply ,its classed as a live service even though its turned of and no pipe work comes into the house ,,it was only used to supply the gas rayburn before I moved in and a year after ,,it was beyond repair ,so landlord installed a new multifuel rayburn ,thus making the gas redundant .Well I'll ask what everyone else is thinking!
Why do you need a gas tariff if you don't use any?
I would be asking the landlord to take it over, they could pay the standing charge.Because the meter is still connected to the mains incoming supply ,its classed as a live service even though its turned of and no pipe work comes into the house ,,it was only used to supply the gas rayburn before I moved in and a year after ,,it was beyond repair ,so landlord installed a new multifuel rayburn ,thus making the gas redundant .
The pipe work was cut out right back to the meter .
So because the meter is still there ,its on the national supply register as a live account and subject to standing charges and bills .
I was with a group called Ebico for years on a zero charge but they passed all their customers onto other suppliers ,mine went to British gas who carried the account on untill it was due for renewal .
There arent any companies now offering zero standing charge and Im not paying for a meter to sit do nothing and pay for it to gather cobwebs .
After some arm twisting with british gas ,ive managed to get them to put me on the same deal till October 22 and Ill try my luck again with them next year .
Comparison sites are useless ,they wont accept 0 usage so you have to speak to somebody to explain it ,,You dont ask ,you dont get .
The meter could be removed but im not paying for that and landlord wont have it removed because if I decided to leave ,not that I will unless my lottery numbers come up ,,he would be lumbered with a big bill to reinstall the meter ,thats classed as a new installation and its stupidly expensive so that idea got ditched .
,Ive been waiting 10 yrs to get the sliding door sorted in the conservatory ,,take over the meter ,got no hope ,,always pleading povertyI would be asking the landlord to take it over, they could pay the standing charge.
