Hedgecutting footpaths yesterday to stop the footpath moaners. A woman jogging ran straight up to the head about 4ft away, I've already pressed stop but it takes a while to stop as I'm trying to slew it behind me out of her way, and she runs and jumps over the top of a running flail! I've got all my flashing lights on, signs out and a man sweeping up and trying to keep people back until we finish.
This just shows today's stupidity, that middle aged woman could of ended up under the flail, and where would I be?

I advertised my old 300tdi disco on there
For £500 no mot but in reasonable order
Some clown messaged me I'll give you £150 and collect it now take it or leave it!!!
Told him politely no and if he turned up he may be leaving on fire [emoji91]
It serves you right for having an old Discovery for sale :)

It's that kind of thing that put me off selling old Haybobs and mowers - there are too many time wasting deadbeats at the bottom of the market.

i think that you should be able to shut these footpaths while working on them just like motorways etc the public need to be kept at a great distance for their own sake and due to their own stupidity common sense and survival instinct having been long bred out of most

I used to get that, when I was cutting verges. I would full lock to the left, blocking their path with the front wheel. It forced them to pass by my right hand side.

The general public are idiots.

These peoples stupidity has created the h & s culture we have to live with. In a similar situation I had what looked like a 16 year old lass with two brats walk right up the the back of the flail while hedgecutting, the little lad was about 2ft off and getting sprayed by thorns, they ignored the banksman and could of walked on the other side of the road!
They got a telling off and the lass struck up another fag and said "my kids do what they want" ffs

People who drive their car right through the hedge smashing the fence on the other side and drive off without saying anything! Lost count how many times! [emoji35]
Put a hinkelstein there, then. That'll learn 'em.

After 6 weeks with no mobile reception at all, and being promised "working in 48 hours" over and over again, they have finally said repairs to the mast mean that I will now not get a signal until they build a new mast. Yeh, like that is going to happen!
No other provider works either. Such is progress! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I seem to remember you have to be able to contact 999- anyone know?
