What old hillsider combine should I repair for small farm?

Sure, I would prefer that, but never not had to strip s/h stuff. I'm really just asking for experiences and what types to avoid.

What kind of acreage are you intending to do with it? I have a Claas 108 dominator with rear hill rams. Wasn’t planing to sell it, but could be tempted for right money. It’s working, cut 70 acre this year. But get ready for a little TLC.

Would be no more than 120 acres a year here. Have refurbished all sorts of gear, so not afraid of rebuild and often re-design.

I would prefer the type that levels across the slopes. Seen some videos of Deutz-Fahr, NH and old Laverdas, in the Italian hills, that seem to work well.
