Where else to advertise a job

We're looking for a full-time shepherd for our 1,000+ flock of mainly NZ Texel ewes. It's a permanent position as our current shepherd is leaving to travel and hopefully work in New Zealand and Australia. He has been tremendous and is leaving after harvest on good terms.

I've put an advert on here on the jobs board but where else would be worth advertising? Looking for advice from anyone who has been through this process recently.

Contact Katherine at the Exmoor Hill farming Network,

A ad is £25 and goes out to about 600 on a mail list, nearly all farming folk in one of the most sheep populated areas of the country.
Plus on to Facebook I think.

Good track record of matching employers to employess.

Which surely makes the £400 cheap, or decent value anyway.

@cotswoldcs , would the NSA weekly email be worth
I've never actually been an NSA member but this has spurred me into joining, something I should have done before. I could possibly have advertised without but I would like to support NSA and feels a bit cheeky making use of a service I'm not a member of. Thanks Neil.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
