Which calf machine to buy? H&L calf expert or Lely vario?

I’ve had my lely for 10 years and starting to cost a bit to repair. I like idea of having hygiene stations but I’ve heard mixed reviews on them. Both machines with same spec are within £1000 of each other so not buying on price. Both dealers roughly an hour away and have 24/7 backup. So I’m just after people’s experiences with the machines really please.

Be an option, speaking to a rep one day last year and the H & L was getting on for £18k, buys one hell of a lot of buckets, pumps, teat feeders or whatever you fancy basically. All stuff less likely to go wrong on a Saturday evening, not sure ours has ever had a hissy fit during the week.
